If the colder weather and the sight of snow has got you longing for warmer days already, then a few photos taken on a warm, late summer day of a great project undertaken by Steve Walsh Construction in Chestnut Hill, MA in the USA might help you out!
Steve Walsh Construction had been tasked with creating some very unique extra space on a wonderful home in this neighborhood. The first of the main two additions to the home is a stunning library, perfect for taking the time to relax and concentrate fully on some serious reading and work tasks. The space was built from the ground up and Steve Walsh Construction did an immaculate job on all aspects of the main build through to the small details. The space also incorporated a designated separate office at the rear of the library to allow the owners a more secluded location to sit down and work, while retaining immediate access to the rest of the library. The outside blended exactly with the older structure and was completed in such a way as to lead to the assumption that it had always existed as part of the original build.
Next to the library, connected by a small linking passageway, was the second main addition to the home carried out at the same time. This was a screened in sun room that opened out onto the wonderful garden surrounding the house. Again this was built in such a fashion as to compliment the current design of the home and provide a space that was great for relaxing on those warm summer days without being pestered by the local wildlife and bugs. Steve Walsh Construction again brought to the table an excellent eye for detail and precision finish.
As part of the sun room build, Steve Walsh also completed a dining room that was located just behind it. This room completed the project and brought all of the areas of this part of the house together with the rest of the home. It was really great to have been able to photograph this project for Steve and his company, and I look forward to seeing more of their projects come to completion in due course.
