I had the pleasure to work on photographing the newly designed workspace for Nelson Mullins in Post Office Square in the heart of Boston for a number of the entities that had worked on it. From the architects, LS3P, who design the concept, to Garland Building company that put that vision into place and also Union Office Interiors who worked with Nelson Mullins to bring in the right furniture to complete the space.
The task was to transform an outdated office space and reception area into a more modern one that was functional, sleek and welcoming, all in one. As you set out of the elevators and look through the double glass doors leading into the reception area you immediately see a space that is well designed and exceptionally professional. A very unique aspect of the project was the ceiling directly over reception as you walk in. The metal tiling had been perforated to create a map of the city of Boston with the Charles at its heart.
One special feature of the new space was taking three existing separate meeting rooms and converting them into one space that could then be divided back up into three separate entities if needed. By using drop down dividers from the ceiling the single long board room style space shown in its entirety with all the tables placed together can be split into three individual meeting rooms or a small meeting room and one double sized one, making it completely customizable for the purpose of the meeting or event.
